My friend sent me the link, just wanted to see if anyone has used it, and knows if its any good? The link is here (http://www.dvdsqueeze.com) . I know there are other alternatives out there, which do you guys use? Or do you go through the long way of converting to mpg and then to VCD?

I have not used it myself, but I had looked into it awhile back and could find nothing but negative comments on the product. Apparently the tech support is nonexistent.
But then, they HAVE to be flat out lying on the front page. They are putting a DVD onto a CD with *NO* loss of quality? I don't think so.
Seems scammy to me.

figured that much.. :P
I've tried dup-dvd, got a nice vcd copy of disc 1.. it splits it to 2 or 4 discs, depending on if you want VCD or SVCD. But I couldn't get it to burn the other discs, so I have like 5 copies of disc 1 of a movie.

Use dvd2svcd. Ist easily the best program for dvd ---> svcd conversion. It does everything in one step and you dont have to do any work yourself.
