With the release of Battlefield 1942 it has replaced my LANs main game of Quake 3 with Battlefield 1942. For over the past month we have been spending 90% of our time with battlefield (demo>retail) 1942 and the other 10% of the time towards Quake 3.

Here are some Pictures of the past two weeks at the LANs that we have had to give you an idea of what it looks like.

Week one of us playing Battlefield 1942 (http://www.colonel-sanders.com/nt_mayhem_battlefield1942_lan/)

Week two of us playing Battlefield 1942 (http://www.colonel-sanders.com/nt_mayhem_battlefield1942_lan/08_30_02/)

We get a average of 20-24 people signed up each week and the seats go fast! so sign up via our online sign up list to reserve your spot. The cover charge is just $10 and that covers the room that we rent to host our LANs at. The LAN starts EVERY weekend and it goes from noon on Saturday till 2am or later on Sunday.

If you interested in the LAN we are located in Torrance California, approximately. 15 mins south of Los Angles.

If you like to game with us this week then please go to our website at www.netzwerk-terror.com and sign up on the "NT LAN Sign-Up System" to reserve your seat.

To reach me you may email me at [email protected], AIM me at colonel0sanders or ICQ me at 10352676.

See you this weekend!!

You should go to King's Hawaiian Resturant (if you haven't already) yummy food :D

I remember when I worked right off of Lomita, that most people took the bridge home (since most lived in the LBC) do you?

on-topic: I don't have a gaming rig, yet... I need video card... which means I need money... but i can play a nice game of Baldur's Gate, and Warcraft loads up nicely... although it's twitchy when it comes to my optical mouse... bastige... :D

i don't know what part of LA you're talking about. i'd say torrance is a good 40 minutes. you should say that it's a good 45 minutes from LA so that people don't show up late. :P

The LA airport is only 15mins away and thats in LA. Downtown is more like 30-45 depending on the day.

BTW... we play Battlefield 1942 and Quake3. Go to bestbuy and pick up the GF4 4200 its only $99 after a $30 rebate. If not I guess that you could use out net connection to play games but err .... it would be better if you could be playing the games that we are playing.

Yeah the one on lomita. heh.
I've gone to the Loft...the food is hmmm...bleh...I don't really care for it too much. Its very heavy. I usually take PCH home. I live north-east of downtown LBC. Always traffic...ugh.

ontopic. I probably can't play. I got a GeForce2 MX...slow as can be. I don't really want to pay 100 bucks for a new video card right now either...i guess I'll live. The only games I'm playing right now are Madden 2003, NBA Live 2k (2001 sucks) & Icewind Dale 2.

Yes the gf2mx sucks ass. But at 800x600 with low quallity battlefield might run. I KNOW that quake3 will run on your video card. to check and see if battlefield will run just download the demo and give it a shot. Even see how 640x480 looks.
