i guess id prefer subbed, but there are a couple of animes that are dubbed so well that id prefer the dubbed... like cowboy bebop, outlaw star, trigun and gundam wing... otherwise... many dubs are just horrific and destroy the dialogue of the amine :D

It has to be subbed, imo. The only good Dub I've ever heard is Princess Mononoke, and that is only because they actually hired REAL actors to do the voiceovers.

Oh, and that is a great discovery there, hang10. ;)

subbed is the way to go. one exception: dbz. the japanese voice for goku is absolutly annoying.

oh man I love kenshin, I'm currently on episode 67 (I think) right now. He's gonna meet up with Amasuka Shogou and do things to him. I like subbed better, I saw a bit of Samurai X with their dubs and it just sounds so horrible. It changes my whole perception of the characters. Anyway, where there's a kenshin thread there must be a kenshin pic:

A lot of people would tell you to stop right there. I don't know, though, because, personally, I like it up until the last episode. Though I could see that the writers were kind of spinning their wheels, hoping to come up with something. :shrug:

er..yea, i hate dubbed all together, i watched some dubbed cowboy bebop and that was hideous, ed sounded a lot better in jap. trigun was better subbed too...never say gundam wing dubbed, so i wouldnt know and outlaw star, well ionno...cant say anytying bout that
