has any one had any experience with this?
i've read a little, but just wondering if anyone has used it.

I have read about it too but looks like they are just starting trails of this stuff. Looks promising as another highspeed internet source.
They are having good luck in Europe, testing in Scotland and Germany, due to their power transmission being at a different wavelength than ours (220 vs 110).

i thought this was used as an alternative to home networking. you just need an adaptor for each computer you want to network and you are done because all the wires are there. you wont have to wire the rooms up or have wires all over the house like i do. i think that transmissions are pretty slow compared to ethernet but decent for most home network needs except games

I think I have been under a rock. I have only heard of the boardband stuff. Hmmm time for some research.

This stuff looks pretty cool. Similar in performance to the phoneline networking and it would be ideal for the home or small business if true ethernet is to expensive (running the cables correctly) and you don't need 100MB/s which almost all homes do not need. Prices seem to be OK.
