I'm not sure if this is a software or hardware question, but I was wondering if any of you knew if Windows NT supports firewire? I can't seem to find any info on it.
Thanks in advance.

I'm near 100% positive 2000 supports it. I think NT 4 also does too 'cause I remember the pinnacle sys DV500 card supported NT. I could be wrong though.
2000 Does but NT doesn't according to this:
"Firewire card installation problems also appear when attempting to install on a computer with the Windows NT operating system. Windows NT doesn’t support the IEEE-1394 interface or OHCI compliant firewire cards. The resolution is to upgrade to Windows 2000 or Windows XP, which fully support firewire."

M$ was slow to adopt the firewire standard, so the support for it was delayed until 2000 came out.
any translucent series powermac or newer does have firewire support though (around 1997/1998)
