I just read a review over at IGN, and they evaluated this little guy. The critic loved it! It's interesting that there are no top buttons persay, but clicking surfaces.

I saw the new Logitech MX700 Cordless Optical Mouse (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?page=products/details&CRID=3&CONTENTID=4999&countryid=19&languageid=1) this weekend at CompUSA. I thought it was cool that it was rechargeable, and the receiver is the charging base. Felt pretty comfortable, too, but I am happy with my Logitech Cordless Mouseman Optical...

Sheesh! $80 Retail! I picked up this Logitech Cordless Mouseman Optical for $30 last year in the Office Depot sale. However, since there won't be any rebates on these babies, we'd have to settle to use a $15 off $75 coupon at staples to get it for $65. Still a good deal if you ask me.

I'll keep my Logitech Dualie Optical any day. Also that I just bought it helps too. This new mouse looks good and will be comfortable as well.

Cheers,

the mx700 looks great with that rechargeable base. changing batteries every few weeks right now wit the regular cordless optical mouse, had to buy myself nickel battery n charger, such a waste now that mx700 is out

got me an mx700 for free :)

got in on that deal a lil while back where you price match staples to officedepot, then used a coupon so bought 3 mice for 140 -20 coupon. each mouse came out to be 40 sold one on ebay 85$ and another on ebay for 70, plus in a mishap with staples i think i'm getting an extra $20

this mouse is truly amazing. It replaced my intellimouse explorer 1.0

I love that keyboard Sho but you should have gone cordless. No wires is excellent.

They make a cordless version of that?

Even so I think I'll stick with a corded kb as my mouse would already be cordless... I don't want to be stuck changing batteries for my keyboard every once in a while.

I have a cordless Logitech keyboard and I have to change the batteries like every 4-6 months, so it's not bad at all. Cordless optical... That's a completely different story, but I'm glad I have my MX700 now.

I agree, batteries in the keyboard tend to last for a LONG time...

As far as the cordless optical goes, I've just started using rechargeable NiMH batteries in it...cheaper, but still have the aggravation of having to change them periodically. Would be nice to have the convenience of the MX700...

That's what sucks about the Logitech combos, because they have a single integrated receiver, it's hard to mix and match parts. If I don't use the mouse, it's useless because I still need the receiver for the keyboard. Of course, if it had separate recievers, I'd complain because I had two receivers cluttering up my desk...Oh well.

all i'm saying is that it's a combo, what am i gonna do with that second mouse?

If they just made the keyboard and mouse separetly then that would be cool

You guys who have the wireless keyboard.....do you use the PC for hours and hours on end? I seem to have to swap batteries in my Optical Intellimouse just about weekly, but I play games non stop. I figured it would be the same thing for wireless keyboards.

I have the cordless keyboard (waiting for my MX700 from Amaozon). I have changed my batteries 1x (after too many LAN parties). it works VERY well and I use my keyboard for a lot of FPS gaming (UT2K3 is a most sweet experience in full settings).
