I've never ordered anything from Cyberrebate, but from what I've read on this board, most people have (eventually) had positive experiences with them, and eventually have gotten paid. I've noticed, from browsing their site, that their pre-rebate prices are often insanely higher than what other retailers are charging. For example, this joystick is $119.99 at cyberrebate, but only $23.99 at Egghead. This is a $94 difference in price! Now, suppose I were to buy one of these using Blue. Would Amex honor my request for a pricematch? Or would they deny it on the basis of the rebate? Anyone tried this?

Well, no harm in trying. You'll get it free anyway...

5 months now since I sent my rebates in. Still "Pending." IMO, I think most of it is crap, it's not worth your TIME to wait for those rebates.

Don't worry about the rebates not coming because Cyberrebates does work. You will get them, you just have to wait a long time. I had to wait almost over a year.

yeah, the theory is that cyberrebate gains interest on all of the money before sending rebates. hmm.

I personally do cyberrebates...
But If you wait 5 months, that is too long!
Trust me I fussed when it was 4 months!
just E-mail them and explain what happened,
they probabbly lost your rebates
I mean they have sooo many to take care of.
so ya, E-mail them
This is happened to me on one order and I E-mailed them and they gave me this fax number to fax the rebates over.
1 week later got all the checks ! http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

I'm curious to hear how it turns out, also. Remember, you can only use it 4x per year. And there are several items that aren;t covered.
