ok, i know what a plebe is:
plebe Pronunciation Key (plb)
n.
A first-year student at the U.S. Military Academy or the U.S. Naval Academy.
but when did this rank show up? the first time i saw it was today.

Its not a rank, its just a word for freshmen.

Yes, actually, it is a rank on here now. For up to 5 posts, you are a plebe. It is to be able to easily identify the brand new posters.

not that i'm opposed to the new rank. but not too long ago, there was a huge thread about how we're not supposed to bash n00bs and that they're supposed to be treated like anyone else.

so i guess i don't follow why to have a special rank so anyone can identify n00bs :confused:

unless it's so we know that they are still in their special "n00b: Handle with Care!" packaging :hihi:

yea... i was a n00b back then... ahh those were the days... the automobile was just released by ford and i sat by the dealership watching their sleak design while eating my 5 cent ice cream cone... ay yes... those were the days :D
