With everyone's favorite pagan holiday rapidly approaching at the end of this month, I thought we could have a thread where all of you sick puppies can start brainstorming on some cool costume ideas.

Halloween is by far my favorite holiday and usually try to make it to a couple of costume parties.

So, what are you folks thinking for the holiday this year?

did you say you wanted sick ideas? then go as a sick puppy, or perhaps a dead fetus.

My dream for the past few halloweens has been to rent a motorized wheelchair and a superman costume. But being the loser I am, I have not been invited to any costume parties. I also don't know where to get a motorized wheelchair. But yes, that would be my dream costume. This year I might actually be able to even make my finger twitch.

i go out with a group of friends every year, and dressed up so no one can tell who i am. it is so cool to talk to ppl and they don't know who you are. sometimes you get a revelation or two http://freeze.mongtastic.be/files/emoticons4u/crazy/1034.gif

i had wanted to get the sword those ringwraiths used in LOTR, and dress up as one and leap at kids shouting WHERE IS THE RING...cuz i bet that there will be some kids dressed up as hobbits, or frodo baggins or something. either that, or i'll dress up as a puritain, and go around looking for witches to burn :P

next year, me and my friend are gonna dress up as "samurai" and fight each other in a park...yelling at each other in jap or something...we are practicing right now...almost nipped my hand...damn blades.

I was at a costume store the other day, you know, the ones that seem to pop up every October and then disappear just as fast. Well, they had that costume in the cheap mass produced costume area. If you look there you might find a couple of the parts you need to pull it off.

Dude, you might really want to consider practicing/training with a bokken (wooden sword) instead of an iaito/katana for safety's sake. Seriously, sounds like you might really get hurt.

My costume is already to go..I'm going to be a christmas tree..highly decorated, working lights, angel on my head and all the rest of the trimmings..I stole the idea from a costume I made years and years ago for my oldest daughter..my boss is going as santa, and we are decorating the office with christmas stuff.
