bling-bling: the wearing of expensive designer clothing and flashy jewelry

By their definition of "bling-bling" one could say

That kid over there practices bling-bling.

And I think everyone here knows that that just doesn't make any sense. :2far:

it seems to me that a majority of the time it's used as a noun, as in:

"it's all about the bling-bling"
or
"he has more bling-bling than he knows what to do with"

it is also used as an adverb:
"that outfit is total bling-bling"

Its on one of the Lakers Championships rings and a trendy hit rap song from a couple years back but how did it end up in the dictionary. Especially with all the catch phrases that come and go every year.

okay let me rephrase... i don't think bling bling should be a noun, pronoun, adjective, adverb, or ANYTHING of any literary/grammatical value... maybe in a slang dictionary...
