Just seems so wrong.
Oh man, you know this game is gonna suck. If you have to go to the bible for a diagram for a game than your in trouble. I mean all those recent end of times movies sucked. I think it shows how desparate people have become.

Looks like an attempt at influencing youth through video games. Some can take it as Christain propaganda like Veggie Tales, but targeted at teens instead of children. I think they are just trying to spread "the word" to a demographic that wouldn't normally sit and read the Bible in thier recreation time.

Hey why not I say. If they can make an ethnic cleansing (http://www.gotapex.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=41809) video game then I think it's good to have other groups represent as well.
Probably the most boring game ever, but atleast they tried.

its definitely NOT christian propoganda... more along the lines of Blasphemous (sp?) if anything...
The storyline includes Jesus' walk on the waters, his crucifixion, his fall into Hell (imagine playing God's son going to Hell…), Moses Plagues of Egypt, Metatron (Lucifer's runner-up), the seals of Apocalypse… Visualize it and you'll see this is definitely NOT your usual RPG.
Err, since when did Jesus go to hell? This is DEFINITELY anywhere in my ORIGINAL bible. Maybe in one of these new-age bibles, but not in the one i've read through.

Sorry Nano, but Jesus did go to hell and "harrowed" it. He went theer and took the souls of people there and took them to Heaven. I'm sure someone else will repsond with the actual passage.

But this is one of the differences in theology between Catholic and most Protestant denominations. It may be in the Catholic Bible (in what we would call the Apocryphal Books), but it's not in the Bible used by Protestants.
Either way, it's a "disputable matter" - one we can disagree on, but in the great scheme of things it doesn't really matter. Who's right? I guess I'll have to wait until I get to Heaven and ask God.
There have been "Christian Video Games" as long as there have been video games. For NES, Gameboy, computers, et al. As far as video games are concerned, they're usually pretty lame. But hey, those sneaky Christians will take any opportunity to spread the Gospel... :)

Ok... how long before they come out with a Religious "First Person Shooter"? :hmm: About 5 years ago... Does anybody remember Messiah (http://interplay.com/games/product.asp?GameID=16)?
Summary:
The world of tomorrow is not a bright and happy place. Those with money and power rule with supreme authority over the masses. Violence, perversion, and disease fill the lives of everyday people.
The cries of the world for salvation do not go unanswered...
But, cleansing the world will be neither easy or pleasant. You'll need to use all the skill and power you possess to emerge victorious over the forces of evil. Do you have what it takes to be the messiah? Remember, God hates to lose.
Features:
Play as Bob, the Cherub, to possess and control over 20 different characters for unpredictable results.
Decapitate and kill your enemies, or simply wound them and watch them try to crawl to safety.
Use assault rifles, concussion grenades, and rocket-propelled harpoons to facilitate your dirty work.
Not exactly a "Christian" game.
As kb0wwp said, there have been other "Christian Video Games".
Along the lines of Messiah, Requiem: Avenging Angel an ok first person shooter is another. All the powers your character could use reminded me of Dark Forces: Jedi Knight II.

ROFLMAO.
Or go around doing excorcisms. When you level up, you start to speak Latin backwards.
