That's hilarious Passwird that fly didn't stand a chance. You better take that link down before PETA sees it :hehehmm:
BTW do you compress your vids before you put em up? That might help you with your bandwidth problems. Check out media cleaner if you don't.

It was originally a 2.x mb .avi file. And yea, that fly didn't even budge between the time it landed and the time I spent looking for the swatter. :P

i would think that, with any typical fly, you'd have to slam that swatter down on it pretty fast to get it before it takes off, and i would think that such a force would kill it to begin with, making the whole electric feature a bit unnecessary. but i guess it'd still be cool to see the sucker fry...

You're able to catch flies in mid-air with this baby. They just fall right out of the air. :D

so basically, you are faultin' me for not knowing how to make that "ç" character... Geez But the point here is that the word wasn't an ENGLISH word... it's a FRENCH word, so you are ultimately wrong in your initial assessment anyway. So :pfft:
(BTW... I copied yours here to put it in my post)
I guess you could say that Russians are "hooked on phonics" huh?
dude i never said it was an english word, i said that english is phonetically incorrect, since they take all these words, in this case a french word, with a letter ç which is pronounced as s in french, and replace it with a c which is usually read as a k for example :
encounter c sounds like k
encoding c sounds like k
copyright c sounds like k
so this leads us to believe that Garcon is actually Garkon where it should be Garson

it's not my fault if americans can't hadle complex letters that require more then one stroke:D
Burzhui
10-10-2002, 10:02 AM
btw the "c" isn't silent in Garson, it's just mispronounced
if it was silent it would sound like Garon

I didn't imply that it was in that instance... I was just saying about how our language is "phonetically"... where sometimes the "c" can be silent, stressed, and I should've added pronouced like a "k" or even an "s".
Feel better now? :D
a little ;)
