For those of you who were looking for a cordless phone deal, this one is killer. Every time we've had a vstore coupon, I've had this posted on bigbigsavings and it sells out real fast. It's a GREAT phone too. A friend of mine owns one and he could go almost a block away and it still works perfectly. Please note, the following link is to the GotApex vstore, so you'll be supporting this site if you buy it.

Use coupon code NW5J when you check out. There is a $20 rebate plus the code will get you 30% off (up to $20 off, so another $20). In the end the phone is $29.96 plus shipping, a great price for this phone.

Enjoy!
Alex

Thought I should mention that Vstore has a whole bunch of Uniden phones as well, with rebates too. The following link takes you to the Uniden section, so if you want one of those phones you can save about $40 or so after the rebate (the biggest rebate I saw was $20).

Hey Alex, pretty cool of you to help out a deals site when you already have your own, up and running http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

I was personally considering going for that, but then I read in another thread that it was $49 at SAMS Club (and that $20 off rebate is universal), so i'd save on shipping by just heading out to my local SAMS. Not that i'm definitely gonna buy it though...

Wow, Great deal, how much better is it when compared to the 900 mhz?

Well, you can see the description of some of the advantages of 2.4 GHz the original post in the original GotApex thread Deals on any 2.4 Mhz Cordless Phones (http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/Forum5/HTML/003739.html). Yes, the title has a typo in it. Note: click on the italicized title to go to that thread (I try to italicize my clickable links).<small>

Thanks for the tip. Got one of those shipping to my house. Gosh I love this place. Now let's see if someone can find a free 2.4GHz phone. :-)

The printed rebate says that the phone has to be purchased by July 31. Should I assume that as long as the receipt shows by that date or are they implying that they need to RECEIVE the rebate by that time?

just making sure.

Greetings,

On May 10, 2000 I purchased a NW Bell 2.4GHz Cordless Phone from
Vstore.com. On May 24th I submitted to Vstore.com a certificate
requesting a $20 mail in Rebate. The rebate was to have been sent to me
with in 12 weeks ( end of August ).
I still have not received the rebate and a letter sent to the company in
September was not acknowledged.
I would ask that an initial investigation be opened on this company and
if the facts warrant it a criminal case.

I got this very same deal from Vstore several months ago, then proceeded to send in for the $30 rebate. About three weeks later I got a post card from NW Bell telling me that the rebate had expired, but according to the rebate form, the rebate doesn't expire for another month or so. Has any one gotten anything from NW Bell???

UPDATE - I received this e mail from vstore.com today.
Apparently a written letter to the address on the rebate coupon is the only recourse one has in the matter. If you have not received your refund or you want to check on the status of one you can write a letter to the address shown on the rebate coupon which is shown on the referenced link in the respose below.
