Alright, first prize winner will also recieve a Gift Card from Best Buy unless I find something better :p But anyways, trying to get a few more people signed up...got some friends who want to play. If you know anyone who plays wc, get them to e-mail me.

ALSO, people who posted in the original thread about this, please e-mail me, some didn't e-mail with the info. Got all the replies that where sent to me. I think the matching will be random, i.e. put in a hat and picked out. We do not have enough beginner/etc. to match everyone up accordingly so...practice! I won't be on today much but you could probly hook up with someone here to do a practice round or two. Thats it for now...stay tuned for date and other updates..

Oh.. and a word of advice to all. Make sure to read up on the changes made by the newest patch. Some units aren't as strong... and some units are even stronger.

hehe i've never played around with that.. but makes it feel kind of like protoss in SC.. build all 4 races!! woohoo!

That's a really risky strategy though... you get screwed if people stick with Tier 1 and 2 creatures.

No you get additional food, 90 per race! Just you wont see it. Its like when your team mate leaves on AT but you dont see his resources....just the same way for you with 4 races :P

Oh yeah, need everyone to post here when you guys would prefer to have the tourny. I am thinking of holding it holloween night? Don know, or a saturday...post plz with responses

huh? when i did it i only had 90 total~

Do you really have the time to build up another race? i mean that takes one, the time to get possesion, two the time to signal out a farmer/wisp/grunt that you want and get him close to possess him, and then you have to start building all over... that seems like soo much time to actually get anywhere... why not have someone go into the game and then just drop so you can take their already built stuff? i've seen really good players do that with newbs.. yell at them to leave the game and then jack their stuff and the newb still gets a win.... i thought it was pretty funny, till this 3 race coordinated attack came at me.... then i was sad...
i would reccomend the game be on any weekday night starting at like 7pm pacific so i can get home from work and grab dinner before we begin.. umm then we could play till like 12 or 1am and that would be fine with me.. umm saturday could work, but i would ask that if you could give like a week notice so i dont plan stuff that would be the best... halloween is good, i mean you crank up the volume and kids around the neighborhood hear weird monsters getting slaughtered.. sounds pretty good to me.

Opps, your right. Just played a game and got 3 races. They must have changed it durring the beta, I remember getting to build additional over the 90 limit...the joys of bugged play testing :D

Halloween is fine, but i think that means we have to be undead for the effect.. hehe or maybe at least be the night elf hero with the mask... umm hunter .. demon hunter, thats it.. gosh, can you tell i am a rookie? well it should be fun though... just give me a time frame so i know where i need to be and so i can plan ahead and just leave the candy out front for kids and animals alike :) oh and i found a good lesson on how to learn how to use your hero is in aeon final strife. or some map like that... you all pick a hero and get an army built by the computer. You go against the army and heroes of the otherside... its good for newbies cause if you lose your hero, you lose... so it makes you protect the hero which is probably one of the most important aspects of the game... and if you lose, it doesn't hurt your record if that is your concern.. i was up for 7 hours last night playing that game.. hehe i only need 3 hours of sleep before work right?

Yeah, we might want to make it a little more fluid... I don't think we can finish this tourney in a day or even two. I say, if you can get the two opponents online at the same time with one observer, go for it, and then post the results. As long as we get the match-ups done in a timely manner, it should be all good, right?

p.s. if you are in the tourney, please be sure to observe a game or two just so we can make it so blitz doesn't have to watch all of us.... oh and i would say meet in gotapex channel before so we can set up and then create the game with more ease.

Just to let you guys know, this is the Sat after Halloween, not before. Also I will have everything rdy don't worry. The first few rounds will be:

1v1 elimination, 1 match

After we get almost everyone who signed up to play, we will have round 2 set up so its

1v1 elimination, 2-3 matches

after we should only have little around 4 people left, and we will hold the finals...

Dont worry about the game set up etc. I am going to have 2 comps runing, if you guys would like to , you could make the game, and I will observe or my friend/ who ever is over. I might ask Mr.Apex to come over and observe on one of my comps if he has time :D So look sharp, horah!


p.s. Here are some rules if you want to game early!
#1. Reff has to attend match i.e. Myself or appointed representative(I pick)
#2. Maps must be ladder choice from play game 1v1 style. I will reiterate on that latter, mostly lost temple, plunders, etc.
NOTE:If you click play game, select 1v1 and it will show all the maps eligible for 1v1 ladder play, those are the maps we will play)
#3. Must participate in an mature manner(once you win you have all the bragging rights :deal: )
#4. Anyone can observe, but you must have a reff in order for match to count
#5. Must play designated opponent, I will choose this sunday who plays who and set up the brakets.

So if you havnt signed up, e-mail me now! Im sorta disapointed, some people posted in the other thread who wanted to play, but no e-mail. We will probly have around 10-12 so practice

Have you guys ever played in a tournament before? I have..

I played in CAL, OGL, UGS, WC3 Tournys, SC Tournys, Battlefield 1942 matches, and bunch of other games....

Tournys are a specific day, not spread out over1-2 weeks. Some are, but some are designated one day via saturday, where you play out a crazed few hours duking it out against the best. That is how it will be, if you play beforehand then you must ask me...please no posts about playing early, just e-mail me.

I will post brackets tomorrow...remember if you do play early, and you win, you will still have to wait to see who you will play next round :bigmouth: (which will be on Saturday)
