Talk about a waste of my 70 minutes. Sheesh. I mean, I didn't expect it to be good, but it was certainly worst than I imagined. First of all, she was a product of Batman and Catgirl, both of which were normal human beings... So riddle me this: why can Cat/Bat-girl leap off buildings and climb up walls like Spiderman? Blah! :2far:

Dina Meyer? Then you'll be happy to know she's going to be in Star Trek: Nemesis.

Hope you like Romulans... :heh:

Yeah, the chick who got nikkid in Starship Troopers.

And as for Star Trek, it's good to see them sticking with their winning formula of emotioanlly challenged hot alien babes. :borg: :amidala:

Well, the way I guess they're trying to get away with it is that she's meta-human... kinda X-Men'ish. You know... some kinda mutant gene. Cuz that's also the direction they took with the girl who's a telepath.

The part I don't get is that why doesn't she wear a mask? I mean, wouldn't that make her highly recognizable. And since the cop has already since her face, why doesn't he just post her pic in the paper and ask if anyone who knows her come forward. I mean, the bad guy totally recognized her. And what's with that see-thru coat she wears?

And the "billion-dollar" tech crap... man, her earpiece was huge. Freakin' everyone within earshot would be able to hear Oracle/Dina. That's just plain silly. And it just makes her look retarded when she's talking to Oracle and everyone else is like,"huh? what did you say?"

And the glasses that the telepath girl was wearing was NOT the best thing to wear while in a dark area, cuz she was totally visible with the bright green lights. geezz...

I would have to say, the show had potential. But with all the cheesy things they done, it might not make it till the new year or even thanksgiving. So sad.....

Ugh, man. It was SOOOO bad. I'm tempted to call up WB and demand compensation for the 70 minutes of my life they stole. They said it would be great and that there would be "loads and loads of gorgeous girls." I wonder if I can get $28 billion...

How in the world did they manage to make an offshoot of perhaps the most interesting mainline comic character so bad? It shall not live long in the land, mark my words.

But meta-humans a la X-Men exist in the Marvel universe... This is based on the DC universe.

Now, if they want to make another comic into a series... go with Hell Blazer! :hehehmm:

I kind of liked it.

Definitely not my favorite show, but liked it enough to want to watch it again next week. :D lol

Let's keep in mind how many shows have had really bad first episodes or even first seasons that have gone on to be quite entertaining.

As of right now I'm not setting the old VCR or anything but I'll probably give it a little more of a chance to develop.

I didnt see it last night, but from the comments, I guess I should be happy that I missed it. However, in the comics, the Huntress and Catwoman are both known to have used Cat Claws (as in Ninja cat claws) to climb up walls. I also think that Batman has used several different wall climbing devices.

Except in this series, she used the time honored String-Fu technique: flying by barely touching walls.
