and I don't want to shell out the cash for a new vid card...
how can I find a replacement fan for a video card?

I have a msi geforce 2 gts. I believe it's this one:
http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/vga/vga/pro_vga_detail.php?UID=169&MODEL=MS-8820

there's already a heatsink on top of the chip in the middle, and a fan that fits it perfectly... maybe I'll post pictures up later tonight.
but anyone have any thoughts?

most fans are a standard size just do a search on pricegrabber.com for the size fan you need most size are in metric units so if you cant find a 2 inch fan search for the metric equilivant

the fan in my powersuply went out last year and i didnt want to shell out 40 bux for a new PS so i just bought a replacement fan. the conector was not the same size so i just cut it off and used teh plug from the old fan

oh yea i forgot the easiest thing to do is remove the old fan and look on it and see what model and brand it is and search for it

what you're looking for is called "chipset coolers", these come in pretty standard sizes with 2 plastic rod clips that will attach to the card.

svc carries some: http://www.svcompucycle.com/chipsetcoolers1.html
