Time has come to build a new PC

i've been out of the loop for a while, so i must converse with you guys about this.

Should i get an athlon or just wait for that new chip they will be comming out with,
Also i am kind of sick, well ok very sick of my swiftech 462A heatsink, it's too friggin loud, is there anything out there for athlons that provides good cooling but isn't loud?
And no i am not going for a water cooled system... it's too expensive

I would wait for the new chip to come out or atleast wait until dual channel ddr. this way you will get more use out of the system

AMD won't be releasing any faster AthlonXP's this year and the last few they've announced have been paper luanched.
