So...I just got kicked out of my dorm because there was a fire in the room above mine! Thx goodness when the sprinklers went on, and the rooms on either side of me got soaked...but only a little bit of water went in my room! we have lightbulbs in our cloests...so this dode...replaced his blub with a halogen one...and you know how hot those get!!! so...his closet got soaked with water from the sprinklers and some of his clothes burned. But I guess that would be all this guys fault. at least he wasn't hurt

Well atleast the sprinklers didn't come on in your room and drench your computer.

One of the dorms caught on fire here 2 years ago. One of the kids died in it. Crazy crap. It'd be weird to live in the dorm of someone who died there the semester before.

shhoooott. 2 years ago when i was in the dorms, some punks would pull the fire alarm at like 3 in the morning during the winter and the whole building would have to evacuate. this happened like every week for a month.

well at least ur comps fine... as for mine the fan on my ps began to fail yesterday so i had to fork out 50 bucks for a good ol ANTEC powersupply :( o well... its all new and stuff... :thumb:

My friend's dorm room burned down when he was up at Lehigh University. Apparently his roommate lent my friends jacket to someone when they went outside to light a pipe. From what he put together after the fact. A cop or campus security started heading in their direction, so the roommates friend put the hot pipe into the pocket and they went back into the dorms. Apparently they put it back in the closet and left the room to get some munchies. The pipe was apparently hot enough to ignite the jacket because it caught on fire.

The entire room was a loss and my friend had a lot of explaining to do when the cause of the fire was determined. His parents ended up believing him and the school didnt press charges against him.

Nope, just some greenage....apparently it was a metal sneak a toke extender type thingy. My friend saw it when the firemen showed the cause of the fire. He knew that his roommate smoked herb too and had seen the hardware before.
