I am well aware of the rules. in fact, i go to the forums everyday and read how people rant and rage on about how people "mislead" others with their subject title. You guys have to lighten up. Its like someone who posted a misleading subject killed your parents or something. Layoff these people. Is it the end of the freaken world when you click on a link and find its not what you wanted? If you're really that hard pressed for time, then just click the back button instead of writing these posts ripping into those who titled their subjects wrong. Geez, how about you guys get lives.

I think it's more annoying to hear people (2 in particular) complain than to read a stupid post. In fact, I'd bet that those two people, who have both accumlated over 700 posts, got half of 'em by complaining.

I ain't sayin' that people should repost deals or ask stupid questions, but I think there's way too much bitchin'.

I can't fathom any reason why you would want to go against the ground rules that Apex clearly laid down for this forum. Why would you want to give him a hard time? Why would you want to intentionally upset other people? He made rules for the forum clear to make things easier and orderly for everyone that uses the forum. But yet people have to insist upon questioning his efforts to help everyone. I just think's its selfish and inconsiderate to do such things. People intentionally try upset others here and it shouldn't be tollerated. If you have a problem with the rules I'm sure Apex would be more than glad to discuss it with you if you would just email him, instead of disrupting the entire forum.

You know I have noticed you don't repost. And I don't even care that much when other people do. A lot of the time, they're just ignorant of the guidelines we subscribe to, and one hint from someone usually gets the job done.
What really get's me pissed is when people flagrantly and intentionally disregard the procedures we have here. It's just more pleasant to go through a forum knowing what's posted under each topic. One look at this title, and it's clear it was meant to deceive, yes-no?
I have no idea where you get the idea that an apology would make me feel any more powerful or better than someone; it takes a pretty small man to make that correllation, let alone derive any joy from it.
And lastly, for this entirely extraneous post, if we don't say anything, does that increase or decrease the number of annoying posts...that one should be fairly rhetorical, but judging from your post, I suppose not.

I've seen at least two people (again, no names here) who jumped on newbies too harshly and my message to them is "lighten up" you were all newbies too, so chill. Yes I was a newbie once also. But I'm an adult now and one of the rules I learned on my journey was that when you're in a new situation, shut-up, look around and listen.

For a moment, after reading some of this thread, I thought I had accidently landed in the Anandtech forum. Scary as that is, it is even more depressing to see that we are starting to act like those guys. Flaming elitist ego tripping!

This subject of this thread does not warrant the attention it has gotten and it demeans the Apex forum as a whole. I'vs said it before.....the main thing I like about Gotapex is that the members exhibit a higher degree of civility and professionalism than is seen in certain other forums......until lately.
