The train will take a LOOOOONG time. I think for me to get to Boston from Los Angeles would've taken me 5 days and it wasn't much cheaper than a plane ticket. Why don't you just do a roadtrip instead if cost is the issue? You could probably do it in 2-3 days if you are all competent drivers.

yeah - plane tickets is only a little more expensive than train tickets.

bus seriously sucks for anything more tha 2/3 hours...i guess going with friends makes it easier..but...eh - make sure it's even number and that you feel comfortable leaning against the person next to you & vice versa.

all that said, i'm with brain - do a road trip - they're so much more fun.
and if you don't wanna put miles on your cars...rent one.

DO NOT GET ON A BUS

1 hr into the bus ride and you will go on a rampage.

Train is a bit better, but not by much...especially with that long of a trip.

i suggest the plane...it cant be too much more than a train ticket

road trip is alos a good idea

plane tickets to vegas aren't as expensive as you might think. one of the airlines that runs out of vegas is owned by some of the casinos.

and a train ride that far may actually cost about as much as a plane ticket.

.... all the way from Rhode Island to Vegas, just to rescue a dog?? Why don't you get the same kind of dog from one of the shelters in R.I. and just keep the money she gives you..

Unless it's some kind of wonder dog that does super duper tricks or something..

Bus
It took me 3 days to get from Oklahoma to Los Angeles, image how long it's going to take you to go across the country.

www.orbitz.com
www.travelocity.com
www.priceline.com
try looking at those places.

i'd say fly. Road trips gets old, same with bus' and trains.

Why does this sound like a comedy movie plot to me?? So Joe, who's going to play you in the film?

Flights to Vegas are generally dirt cheap. I would recommend flying...just remember you are going to need a dog kennel to get the dog back, no matter whether you go by planes, trains, or automobiles. You may also have trouble boarding the dog at a hotel, so you might want to check on that.

"Road Trip 2: The Canine Expedition"

Maybe Tom Green will stick the dog in his mouth to sneak it onto the bus..

Is this dog being ransomed to you? Give me $100 or the little dog gets it.
Does this dog have a life sentence? We find you guilty of dog slaughter.
I'm just wondering why your dog is going to die on a specific day?

Why don't you just pay chrissy a couple hundred dollars and have her ship the pet to you via pet carrier? It takes one day.
