yea just installed my newly bought Leadtech Geforce 4 ti 4600 card for 132... ubersweetness... its so cool like... a lot bigger than my Geforce 2 mx 400 :D

He's talking about the ti4200, not 4600.

ya sorry bout that... it is a 4200... on the nvidia website, a 4600 is 7% better than my vid card... ooo ahhh... :D

7% better at what? The 4600 crushes the 4200 in 3Dmark, not too mention it gets much higher frame rates in all games.

to see the difference: Crank up the resolution. Turn on AA. It'll be more than 7%.

I did as well.. yay me!!

But, I should have saved the 100 bux, got the ti4200 and just OC'd it to 4600 speeds anyways.. BUT, then I wouldn't have the bragging rights to say "I got a 4600 for 200 dollars!! I am the rulest!!"

12k+ with my ti4600 oc'd to 520/730($250 shipped)
13.5k with the details turned down.
15k if i had just spent $100 more and got a 9700pro from new egg.
What does all this mean......... not much.

I just wanted performance and to be able to watch movies etc and run everything off my rig. AIW 9700pro, I'll be waiting on you(or NV30) for my next rig.

and higher resolutions ay?? well i dont really ever play games at 1600 x 1200... so my cards plenty o power :o
