Why would anyone buy something that is neither good nor cheap?

i just wanted to see. i don't really like light american beer, but i drink a whole lot of beer. if i were to drink "good beer" all the time, i would be a major fat as$$. '

another drawback to the ultra is that i don't think it has much alcohol in it. which would make sense:

less sugar=less carbs.
less sugar=less food for yeast.
less food for yeast = less fermentation.
less fermentation = less alcohol.

they need to make an oatmeal stout with 10 calories and 1 gram of carbs.

My favorite beers:

Hoegaarden White (http://www.bottledbeer.co.uk/beer.asp?beerid=167)
Duvel (http://www.duvel.com/uk/Products.htm)
Duchesse de Bourgogne (http://www.duchessedebourgogne.com/duchesse/default.asp)

Favorite local beers:

Old Brown Dog (Northampton Brewery (http://www.northamptonbrewery.com) - about 900 yards from my apartment)
Paradise City Gold (same)

At the bar:

Guinness (http://www.guinness.com/guinness/en/gateway/0,6561,125449_126269,00.html)
Kilkenny Irish Beer (http://www.einfo.com.au/kilkenny.htm)
Saranac Single Malt (http://www.saranac.com/)

I don't drink beer that often, so I don't have to worry myself with light beer. Isn't that the stuff that comes out of the tap? :P

Not being a big beer drinker, I've always wondered if light beer means "less calories" or "less alcohol"?

So that would mean 19 years previous from now, you had beer? I guess that mommy drank while you were in the womb.
