as described in this thread (http://www.gotapex.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=51721), it seems we are meeting tonight. last i talked to chosen, we were going to dolphin billiards on broad street. or, what would be most convenient for everyone so as to get the most participants?
i'm thinking like 9p or around there. so who's up for it?
Well, I'd be up for it, but I have a concert to go to on South. Also! Where's Dolphin Billiards?

Where's Dolphin Billiards? dolphin billiards is actually just a bar with 2 pool tables that they called that...i'm thinking to make you think that it's a pool hall. but they have mixed drinks and $2 beers- bud and miller. hey, we went cheap because i wanted to go easy on the family types that may have to save their money for real stuff. oh, and it's on the corner of south broad and tasker.
is the concert on south like a band playing one of the places like a bar there? or a real concert?

nah, i don't mind driving that far really. something about driving for 42 hours makes one think of less than 10 as "small potatoes." when i get more familiar with the digs, i'll see what's in your area i wanna see and do that. or maybe i'll catch you on my way to the michigan area or something. we'll figure it out.
so last night i met johnnymk. he's a pretty cool guy. really laid back n stuff. we talked about the area, things we are into, life stuff, and stuff like that. good times. it was kinda loud, so i hope that didn't bug him or whatever. lots of yelling and asking "what?" it was actually louder last night than when i went before. oh, and it was...um...different. i have a feeling it's a different place altogether on the weekends. i have my doubts as to whether i'll go there on a weekend again :P
but it was fun. not a lot of deets, because it was your typical night at the bar really. but good times for sure.

Yep, I had a good time. That was definitely a memorable place, but the music was definitely good. The crowd was, well, a little on the wild side.:D
Mojo is the king of gentlemen. He's the kinda guy that you would probably elect class president. He's a doer and not just a talker... and chosenfool... since he seems to be into computers and overclocking and stuff, I expected a geeky kind of guy. That's the farthest thing from the truth. He is also a very cool guy.
They are both excellent pool players. I couldn't believe some of the shots they made. I thought I was watching something on TV seeing them play.
If anyone wants to meet again, including topane, Email any one of us. It's definitely worth it meeting people from this forum.
After all, this is the best forum on the Net, right?

You other Philly people know where Chemisty in Manyunk is? I live(d) right up Shurs Lane (Cross Street with main where Chemisty is). Its my parents house, I would be there, but am in CT going to school right now.

Which school? CT is my home state, lived there for 25 years. Moved a little north to MA a couple of years ago.
