Get a wireless router and get either a pci wi-fi nic or an usb wi-fi. There have been deals put out every other day or two on the deals page, use the search tool for it.

Let's break it down, shall we? (hammer time) :)
pci: peripheral component interconnect – a socket and protocol that provides for add-on function to a PC
wifi: Wireless Fidelity (wifi is a standard for wireless networks)
nic: network interface card

ok
well is there like a special frequency i have to buy ? i mean does the router and the pci have to work on the same frequency or is it universal ?
Just make sure it comforms to the 802.11b standard and you'll be set.
This is another option:

btw, you will still need a wireless router to use it.

However, the cheapest way is still going with cords. I got the CompGeeks 1000ft of ethernet with crimper, RJ45 plugs, and tester for $44. Going wireless will cost a lot more and will be slower.

802.11b is 11mbps maximum. Average use is around 5-6mbps.
802.3 (wired ethernet) is available in 10mbps 100mbps and 1000mbps. The faster, the more costly. Most users buy a 10/100 switch.
Unless you transfer tons of large files between systems, you wont notice any difference.

For an internet connection of even cable or dsl, there is no difference. But for file transfers there is some difference. Depending on the size of the file. As ribitch said the larger, the more difference you'll notice.

plus if you play online games such as WC3 or CS, you'll notice a small 2-second pause every 10 minutes or so
