View Full Version : Good bargain RPG?

After having finished NWN and MM9, and trying (and hating) Morrowind, I'm looking for a new RPG. I'd like to get one that's been out for at least a year; with plenty of instability-curing patches.

I found Planescape: Torment for $10, and Gogamer has a few for $15.

So, what older (and cheaper) RPG's would you suggest?



{{BTW: My favorites in recent years have been: Anachronox, NWN, FFVII, FFVIII, and Arcanum.}}

Gogamer used to have Soul Bringer, which I enjoyed lots.

My playstation has a worn out laser eye, so I don't use it much. So, unless the emulators work with FF9 and FFtactics, not an option for me.

I've played through all three Fallout games (very cool games).

I played through most of Baldur's gate, and got bored in the 5th chapter. I've not played BG2.

About Icewind Dale ... I'll look around for a low $$ price.

Oh hell yeah! I know why Leon likes this series, it's got a ****load of guns in it! lol. There's nothing quite like staying up until 2am in the morning, then walking into the Slavers Guild, turning up the volume really loud, and letting Metzger have it with an SMG to wake everybody up, lol. Tactics was awesome too. I hope they make a Fallout 3!!

I've played through all three Fallout games (very cool games).

HMM I was only aware of 2 fallout games. Did they sneak another one out while I wasnt looking?
