I know I have to set AA etc for gaming. Give and take details/performance. I usually have AA disabled and leave most other quality settings at their stock positions. If I turn it up will DVDs look better, will it lag? I have a ti4600(oc'd) and a 2.3ghz p4.

What do I set it to for viewing movies. Since the movie frames are generally slower than games do just set it to quality and leave it or does it depend on "eye of the beholder?"

Just curious what you guys do to view movies on pc.
I mostly watch action stuff and some anime.

Also what DVD software is the best. I run powerDVD and have WinDvd already what works best for quality/functions? Is there some other free one that works better?

Thanks

I use DVDExpress from Mediamatics (http://www.national.com/appinfo/dvd/), which came with my ThinkPad. If you can find a ThinkPad Options disk anywhere, it's on there.

Oh, and you don't have to run it on an IBM; I have a Toshiba DVD player on my main machine and the software works fine.

You can purchase the upgrade, DVMatics, but it's $39.95. I used it for a few weeks as a trial, but I like the simplicity of DVDExpress.
