me and my friends have been getting into board games and wondering if there's any board games out there to pick up....
I don't wanna hear "oooh, I loved candyland and hungry hungry hippo when i was a kid". :P

what's fun to play NOW?

We've been doing scrabble, cranium, guesstures, trivia pursuit...mmmm, yeah...

anyone have any other suggestions?

Taboo is loads of fun. Balderdash is great too. The folks I play with like to stick with the classics though (Monopoly/Risk)

Since I have two kids, most night though we get stuck playing some serious candyland. Candyland extreeeeeeeeeemmmmm if you will. You don't play your move right then you get the smack down by the 2 year old!

If you have ALOT of $$$$$ then play Warhammer..not really a board game like most, but its fun if your into that type of thing. Was going to get into it untill I found out my friend payed $200 for 5 figures and a new paint set...

I went back to warcraft..

im not much of a board game player, but monopoly is always a favorite in my circles.

Risk is the flippin' bomb! I LOVE that game!

I also like playing Taboo and Guesstures...those two are also great games.

Stratego is kind of a fun game too.
