Nintendo has always been a "family" game system. And they went out of their way to let folks know that the Game Cube was only going to be marketed towards families. But lately it sure starting to seem like a PS2 in the way of games. Time Splitters 2, all the Resident Evile games, Turok, Blood Omen, Enternal Darkness, BMX XXX, and so forth.
It seems to me that Nintendo is finding it hard to keep the cube alive without marketing to the older crowds. This brings good news for us somewhat...um, "older" fans who need that mix of safe for the kiddie games but still want something with some excitment left in it.
What do you folks think? Good move for Nintendo to have more M rated games to acctract more gamers or has Nintendo done wrong by it's core customer base?
