Will be at Belly up Tavern in San Diego on 11/27 and at the House of Blues in Los Angeles on 11/26.

They will also be in Miami playing at a Reggae Festival on 11/10...I don't have all the info. AND at the Temple Bar in Santa Monica on 11/22.

4th Ave is one sick show, definitely go if you are into Hip Hop. Never seen Nappy Roots so look forward to it. latingirl, are you doing 4th Ave's site? Would be a fun one to work on.

On a side note, went and saw Talib Kweli last friday at the Juke Joint Cafe here in SD. Best show ever... He is dropping a new albulm, "Quality", on the 19th (according to Amazon) and doing small dates to promote it. Only 200-300 were allowed at this show due to the small venue, so keep your eyes open for dates. You don't want to miss it!

i had heard from a friend that he was in LA last wednesday night (maybe it was thursday), doing an album release thing at the century club, but i looked everywhere for info on it, even called the radio stations, and nobody seemed to know about it...

anybody catch mos def and ?uestlove this past saturday? had to miss that too, dammit...

Yes, I'm on the Lookalive web team. Doing banners and mostly producer type stuff at the moment.

The show is TIGHT!! The violin segments are awesome...my girl Gailybird puts it down!

Not yet. I am starting a web co with one of the band members. We are probably going to do a site for KP, who is a producer for 4th ave. He does a lot of stuff for Afeni Shakur and he wants more exposure. And we will be working on the 4th Ave Family individual artist pages.

We also have some other hookups in and outside of the industry.

Nope, just working hard to get this thing going...being proactive and taking all the opportunities that come my way.
