Nintendo is announcing its new big campaign called Non-Stop Nights of Nintendo. Going from October to December there will be new games being released everyday! And in other news Game Cube owners are heard cheering for joy for the first time ever… "We love you Nintendo, oh yes we do! You bring us games so we're not blue. If you're lying aging, we'll beat you! Oh Nintendo we love you!"
Here is part of the official release:
"Today, Nintendo kicks-off "Non-Stop Nights of Nintendo," an unprecedented launch schedule, with practically a game-a-day from October through December, featuring dozens of game releases designed for teen and mature players. The cornerstones of the line-up are the launches of two of the most wildly anticipated exclusive NINTENDO GAMECUBE titles, Metroid Prime (Nov. 18) and Capcom's Resident Evil 0 (Nov. 12). But these games are only a start. Before New Year's Eve, older players will see their favorite game genres flooded with titles featuring traditional and extreme sports, racing, fighting and first-person-shooters, building the NINTENDO GAMECUBE library to a total of 180 games by year's end."

Wow, but really, how many will be worth it though  could be like the fiasco with the ps one where it was getting real tough wading through the heap o' crap for the good games.

It would be nice to know what this involves. It's not easy getting an accurate list being that Nintendo doesn't like to give out exact dates only the general month the game will be released.
Games coming for GC:
The List! (http://www.nintendo.com/games/master_list_result.jsp)
Here are some of the good out of the list:
Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II
Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2 (GCN)
Outlaw Golf
Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Metroid Prime
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance
Batman: Dark Tomorrow
Blood Omen 2
James Bond 007: NightFire
Medal of Honor: Frontline
Resident Evil Ø
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
Star Wars: Bounty Hunter
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon
Super Bust-A-Move 3000
I would say most of the games are good if you take in the kid factor most of these games are made for.

I have to disagree with you AP. If you look at the games above, I would say MOST of them aren't made for the "kid factor." Most of these games are adult oriented games, like Metroid Prime, PSO 1&2, Jedi Outcast, RtCW, Baldur's Gate. "Kid games" are like Mario Party, Mario Sunshine, Animal Crossing, Smash Bros, and the only one that fits that kind of mold might be Bust-A-Move 3000. I certainly don't think outlaw golf is intended for kids (I really hope not, I mean do we really want 8 year olds learning how to play golf? :) ).
The gamecube isn't just for kids. I think Nintendo is tying to change that perception.

I was refering more to the link I posted. The full game list is loaded with kid games. Nintendo will always be a family system. But they have shown they can appeal to the adult gamer as well in recent months. This is a good move for Nintendo. Sony has been able to prove it can handle both adult and kid gamers with the equal amount of games for both types of players. Sony spends money advertising the adult ones more for they know who the bread and butter customers are but if you look at a game list for PS2 and PS One you will notice how split the games are.

Ah ok.
Speaking of which, you know what I think is kid stuff? The things they're doing with linking the GBA to the cube. Metroid Prime and its GBA equivalent Metroid Fusion is linked. If you finish Fusion and link it to Prime, you can use the Fusion suit in Prime. Likewise, if you finish both games you unlock the original Metroid. All this stuff, along with the e-reader is aimed at kids who are used to collecting things (i.e. pokemon). It's pretty annoying for us adult gamers who have no intention of staring at a small, unlit screen for hours trying to get a damned suit or a 8bit game...

...but I got to collect them all? Er...I mean, YEAH! What the heck already!
As a parent, it gets on my nevers a bit the why they do that. But If I think back to when I was a kid...I would have beel all over that stuff! The e-reader, the trading card games, linking games just to change clothes...So it's hard to complain to much. Nintendo nailed the need kids have to collect anything that seems intresting.
Though the unlit screen thing is wrong! I still say there is now reason why they could have made the GBA back lit from the start! They just wanted to sell all them light attachments that break so freakin easily!!
