View Full Version : ATX Cheap Case

I want to get a case that I will be able to mod down the road, but that already looks nice. The only thing is that I only want to spend $50. Any suggestions?

Here's one possibility.
I bought this case recently, and really like it. I haven't tried to mod it or anything yet, but it seems like it would be a decent case to mod. One thing I really do like about it though is that it has a rack for four 3.5" HD right across from the PCI slots, so it is ideal for a RAID array... the only thing is, I don't like the idea of having a speaker magnet .5" away from a hard drive. :hmm:

http://pcinfinity.net/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PCInfinity&Product_Code=CASELCT300&Product_Count=0&Category_Code=CSE Super cheap, I've built a couple systems for people with this case, very decent for the money especially since its $24 shipped. Not much for "modding" but there are ways. . . Not sure where you're located but I would recommend going to a computer show and buying one from there, usually decent prices and you save a lot on shipping since thats what really kills the price on cases. The site has a couple other case designs for under $50, not your high quality stuff, but gets the job done.
