Ok,
I'm hoping to score on the Intel retail/edge deally with the P4 2.53Ghz Processor and Intel D845EBT Motherboard.

I understand that you need to use the 333MHz memory(PC2700) but will you gain any performance advantage by utilizing any of the higher clocked memory? Is this even possible?

If the mobo can be overclocked to use it yes it will be faster, but if the mobo can't, then its pretty much useless.

Like he said, if your motherboard has no function to increase the FSB, you don't need PC3200. But you could buy the fastest PC2700 to improve your system performance (CAS 2 and etc).
