Have you heard the song My December by Linkin Park? I downloaded the song not long ago and I really like it. It's kinda different from what LP is normally know by. It doesn't feature screaming vocals and tight Emcee skills. It's more of a softer song but it's really good if you're bored online sometime.;)

Not bad. I like the "screaming vocals and emceeing" though. Can you recommend any other good Linkin Park songs that are nice and loud ?

One Step Closer :P
the whole rest of the album save "The Itch"
And that song is almost two years old, and I still like it :D
my g/f always associates that song with me, because it was playing the first time we hooked up :D

Yeah, Nija's right. I think Crawling was perhaps their loudest song, I could be wrong though. And the video is really cool too. I don't like hardly any of the reanimated stuff that I have heard. I mean come on guys, it was cool for a long time, their songs stayed popular for a long time but if you are going to make another album, don't just rerelease your old stuff....

no, that is a bonus.
imagine that, a band that is creative enough that they can express themselves without seeing how many times they can use the f-word

you could also get the "other" Linkin Park songs, like High Voltage and Step Up
they released coupla songs on mp3.com, back in the day when they were known as Hybrid Theory. they might still be there.
oh, as for the Reanimation CD, i think it is absolutlely a great cd. If you actually spend time and listen to the music, they even go as far as changing the lyrics to the songs. Its not really sample driven, like some other remix cds (ahem, like a band called Limp Dillsnick)
;)

Hmm, you might be right DFU, it's just that I listened to "In the End" that was supposedly off the Re-Animation CD and it SUCKED. It said on the title it has StainD on there. It sounded like someone who was tone deaf was singing backup, the mixing wasn't all that good, and so forth... I mean I'm not dissing Linkin Park. They were my favorite band maybe still are, but I was really disappointed when I heard that one.

I personally didn't like the Reanimation CD much. I absolutely LOVED Hybrid Theroy, but I didn't get too much out of Reanimation. But, then again, I don't personally like remixes or more techno-ish stuff (in general). Let me tell you one thing though, Linkin Park had a track off of The Executioners CD (I think that's what it was called) that was really pretty good, but DO NOT buy The Executioners (or at least make sure that you listen to it first). Both me and the dude at Best Buy agreed that it was a pretty bad CD :)

Are you talking about "It's Goin' Down"? I know Best Buy had that song setup on some of their home entertainment systems and if you pressed the "Rock" button, it would start up that song. Man I had that song blasting on a pair of Yamaha floor speakers. It sounded killer. I hate Best Buy employees but I have to admit, being able to play with nearly everything in the store is awesome. You can be nearly as loud as you want there...

it wasn't actually Linkin Park with the Xecutioners. It was the "rapping" singer (Name Forgotten! :disa: ) and Mr. Hahn. Guitars were played by a Mr. Wayne Static of Static-X (w00h00) and the rest of the mixing was the X-men (as they were previously known). :)
