Well I need to know what is the best of the best for video cards out there. My boss wants to buy them for us and wants the best. He told me to compare PNY and Pine, but I just wanted to see what you people though was the best. Geforce not Radeon though.

I am gonna go look up info now but any advice or articles would be great :thumb:

edit: Used mainly for gaming I assume.. heh, even though that is not what we will tell the finance department :) And money doesn't matter too much.

I agree 100% with DF's assesment. He did a ton of research and he knows what he is talking about.

I could've sworn I read somewhere that the Gainward ti4400 and 4600 cards had a ton of problems.

There are also more threads at Sharky.

Also read the Newegg comments about Gainward GF4 Ti's.

Taken all this together its evident there's something up. Gainward did a good job with the GF3 line but the GF4 Ti's well that's another story.

Yay! sbp to the rescue! :D

Looks like DF did a good thing buying the MSI. :D

Hey, DF, what games did you get bundled with your card?

DF you are the man with the master plan! Thanks for the info, I pretty much figured any gf4 4600 would be fast, and there seems to not be a huge huge difference in all of them except for what they come with. I found enough info for my boss though, he was sorta set on a brand already, the Pine XFX, so he just wanted to make sure it was ok.

Radeon 9700 pro woulda been nice, but hey SOFII will look plenty good with the gf4. Thanks for all the advice guys.

I would get the Gainward. The MSI isn't bad, but I would hesitate to buy the PNY or Pine. They are a bit lowbrow.
