No. Although there is a fair share of it, it's no more than normal.
It's pure hilarity. Like I said, If you love the show, you will love the movie, if you hate the show... you'll love the movie :P

Just saw it last weekend. Amazingly funny. I think it was actually better than the usual show. The rental car scene at the beginning was golden. "I don't have any money to pay for this, so... someones gonna have to take care of it." "yeah, you are." "But i dont have any money so you guys will have to deal with it." :heh: I was rolling.

Oh, yeah...that was really funny! That is the reason I walked out. I figured that if the rest of the movie was going to be like that, then it was going to be pretty pathetic.
I am sorry, but that is not funny, it is stuff that is appealing to juveniles... no, I mean juvenile delinquents. I wasn't going to wait around to watch some sick teenagers pushing an old man in a wheelchair down a flight of stairs and then watching them laughing their asses off!
I hope that the auto rental company was reimbursed by the people who made the movie. If not, that fella that rented the car to that immature idiot ought to rip his throat out.
But you know, that kid would be the first to spout off about his rights!

Well thanks for your opinion grandpa. I'm sure Matlock will be on soon, something more your speed. And if its comedy you crave, they play Andy Griffth re-runs on TBS.
What does this say about a society that enjoys such lowbrow entertainment? :o

I never tried to pass jackass off as quality writing or a work of art. :P

actually it wasn't a real old man... it was one of the jackass' guys.
rolling down the S.F. hills.
Yeah, this isn't quality entertainment. Hence, it's a bunch of guys, who totally acknowledge the stupidity (what's the title of the show/movie) so anyone who emulates (immolates?) their acts deserve everything they get. Death included.

Lighten up a bit. . . BTW, this is MTV, which as a network probably has the biggest stick up their ass, of course they covered the cost of damages. But they're not gonna show that, that would just ruin the effect and 'cause people like you to think they actually get away with this. Of course they don't, otherwise they'd be in about oh. . . 1000+ lawsuits or more by now. Jackass is about what happens to a bunch of guys with too much money and a couple camcorders.

Hey, I don't mind juvenile behavior. I liked "The Wedding Singer", "There's Something about Mary", "PeeWee's Big Adventure" and a lot of other silly movies. A lot of people my age consider those movies stupid, but I roared over them.
I didn't know it was produced by MTV. So the rental company probably was reimbursed for the damages. I still don't see the humor in destructive behavior.
There was a woman at work who thought people slipping and falling was a riot. I could never figure that out, either.

Well guess thats why Baskin Robins has 31 flavors and not 1. Not only was it from MTV, Paramount was the filmhouse to put it out. But honestly it seems like you were just too quick to judge. Not saying you should of loved it too, just that you sorta judged the book by its cover.

Contrary to your perceptions, I don't type every post with the same tone. The problem is you've come to label me a certain way in your mind and you see everything I post through that lens.
