beast machines/wars was not only very well done, but never forgot those original shows, constantly referencing them, which was great. These anime ones, armada and the other one, really are terrible, though I do like how armada has the same voice for optimus as from beastwars.
The armada ones remind me too much of the very last, throwaway season of transformers in the 80's, when they dead the whole HeadMaster thing. They kept trying to do actual stories, and that last season hasbro just wanted to sell toys. Hasbro always just wanted to sell toys, but at least they pretended to put out a decent product.

OMG, my lil bro used to LOVE this when he was a kid.
He had the sword and used to put it inside the back of his pajama top and pretend he was HE-Man.
It's FUNNY just thinking about it...he would KILL me if he thought I was mentioning this to anyone. :heh:

Armada sucks just as bad as the toys do! Too bad too...killing a great show from the 80's. Though they are going to continue to re-release the old generation-one toys. You can find those at Toys R Us.
GI Joe and Thundercats are both coming back for next season but it's still unclear if it will be FOX or Cartoon Network. They both have new comic books that came out too.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are coming back on FOX this spring. The new cartoon and toys are based on the original comic books and are being drawn in the same style. COOL!
I'm a toy collecting geek so I tend to come across this kind of news all the time. :D
