I installed an older nVidia card in a friend's computer and am trying to setup the TV-out so that she can watch movies on her television. I'm using the latest Detenator drivers from nVidia, but can't seem to find an easy way to switch from the monitor to the television and back again. Ideally i would think you could setup a keyboard shortcut to swap displays, but i don't see an option for anything like that. Currently we have to navigate deep into the advanced display properties to enable the television, and returning the display to the monitor is almost impossible because there's no display in the monitor and the television's in the other room!
Also, the image on the TV-out is a good 1.5" smaller in width than the television and i don't see an option to enlarge the image or overscan the output. Any ideas on adjusting this?
The specifics:
The card is a Leadtek WinFast S320-II w/ 32MB. Apparently with this model only one display can be active at the same time. If the monitor is on, the TV-out is off and vice versa. I tried nView's profiles to setup a keyboard shortcut, but that didn't seem to work.
Thanks in advance for your time and assistance,
James
