is there any chart or reference that tells me who made the monitors?

like some are supposed to be rebadged sonys or rebadged samsungs, etc...

any reference out there like that?

a lot of dell monitors have been reviewed by various hardware sites. if there is a specific monitor you are looking at, do a search for reviews on it. you wont find most of that info on thier website. they will show the specs and a sales description of the monitor
