is there a hug huge diffrence between the sound blaster live and the Santa Cruz. i mean can u actually hear a diffrence if your using the same speakers?

The better speakers you have, the more you can hear the difference.

The Santa Cruz is clearer.

Yeah from what i've heard/read the Santa Cruz gives the best sound the clarity. The only reason I got myself an Audigy is because of the built in firewire port. Btw... if you're using on-board sound right now, get a real sound card :D

It all matters on what type of speakers or cans you are using. You won't notice anything if you're on some cheap-o $15 altecs or the like. But if you're using some logitech z series, klipsch promedias, or . . . diva swans m200 :D heheh, you'll definitely notice.
