Hi everyone,
My roommate bought an AMD xp 2000 processor but when I look at properties it says... AMD processor 1.25 GHz.. Do you think he just got ripped off or is something wrong with some settings? Thanks

Your bus speed is set to 100MHZ, when it should be 133MHZ. The multiplier for this chip is 12.5. You should be seeing 1.66GHZ (12.5 X 133) instead of 1.25GHZ (12.5 Z 100).

Check the motherboard BIOS or jumper to set the FSB from 100Mhz (defaut) to 133Mhz.
