On a related note, this jackass that I know used Flooz to buy $300 worth of Toys R Us gift certificates, on THE VERY DAY that they stopped accepting GCs for preorders. Now I--uh, I mean, this guy--will have to wait until late October to use these to buy my PS2. Grrrr. . .

pennypinch, I'm not sure when they stopped taking Flooz for preorders, but I know they stopped taking gift certificates on June 26 (read: the day I got mine). How do I know this for sure? Well, I went through the preorder process, right up to the purchase options, the day before, just to make sure I could do it that way. Lo and behold, when I get my gift certificates THE NEXT DAY, it's no longer allowed! I felt a whole Charlie Brown-Lucy dynamic going on, like they pulled the football away at the last second.
