Okay, so Circuit City can't seem to figure out how to repair a car stereo, so they won't give me my money back but they did give a gift card. What should I get at Circuit City?? Any ideas are appreciated. I already have a Geforce3 card and a decent soundcard that I am happy with and do not want to spend too much more than the $208 credit.

Lemme correct myself. I already purchased and installed another car stereo from another outfit on the island, so I do not need another one.

us folks here at gotapex can be helpful in many areas. you can ask almost any question, and in a couple days, you'll have dozens of useful responses, many from people who are deeply knowledgeable in the subject area (and people like me, who pretend to be deeply knowledgeable in all subject areas :P)

but there is one question that i've NEVER seen answered in a productive way: "how should i spend X money?" :hihi:

Okay fine, I'll get serious. Donate the money to your favorite charity. I'm thinking March of Dimes right now, or perhaps a homeless shelter. There's a charity around here, I don't know if it's just a local charity but it sounds good even though I'm not Christian--Father Joe Carol.

BTW I once asked a question and it was Totaly ignored. It was "What happened to hamsterdance"

umm... i believe it's a gift card to circuit city.... won't really work for charity.

Good point. But for the sake of not having to admit that I was wrong...I'm sure that homeless shelters could use new electronic equipment.

Buy the nicest thing you can for $208.00

Save the receipt, and ebay the item with the Transferable Warranty.

You should get at least 90% of that cash.
