my provider decided to close port 25, so i must rely on an ISP instead of my webhost for my smtp server. So i decided to find a new host.
I signed up for hostpacket last week, and they have yet to bill my card or even respond to any of my emails i have sent to them. I try calling and i get a voice mail system that doesnt even state the business name. I have decided to avoid them now because of this service, or therefore lack of.
Anyone have a provider that they highly recommend? I want 200 or so MB of space, atleast 1 mySQL database, minimum 20 email addresses, decent control software, decent webmail (not Horde webmail), decent speed, and a reliable uptime, especially for the mail service.
My current host has just pissed me off too much. I used to get my service from hostica.com and had flawless service then i siwtched and have had countless problems.
any help is appreciated.
oh yeah, i am looking for a monthly fee of 10 bucks or less. Preferably around 7 bucks per month with an option to pay by quarter.
