View Full Version : WinXP desktop colors?

I set my interface back to standard XP (to make my home comps more similar to new school comps). I'm kinda irriated at the bright desktop (off-white, bright blue, green). Is there anyway to change the colors of the individual desktop elements with the standard XP apearance, like with the classic interface?

aack! i didnt understand what you were talking about when you said "off-white, bright blue, green" so i started playing around with the desktop appearance. i see what you mean, not only is it ugly, but it gives me a headache. reminded me of why i changed it. if you dont want to do the stylexp thing, open up your display properties, click the appearance tab and change the color scheme. there are only 2 other options, i prefer silver. anyone know of any other schemes you can install without using stylexp?
