i know this guy, avid about his muscle building, and this is all he eats: tuna from a can, chicken breast, and protein drinks. water too, of course. he is very disciplined and does not eat anything else. i know i couldn't do it.

No way, I enjoy eating too much. I love food and all it's wonderful diversity. Yum yum yum :munch:

I'd watch out for too much tuna. Some brands have shown dangerous levels of mercury contamination.

I can't do it consistantly. Tuna and chicken is not bad, but everyday? No thanks.

if he keeps that up for 10-20 years, you'll be visiting him in the hospital as he sits on dialysis and awaits a new liver and new kidneys, has his pancreas removed, gets bloated from edema, and takes about 20 pills a day.

luckily, most people can't keep up such stupid diets for more than a year or two, at most.

Sure, its only food. I don't think eating is as much "fun" as most. I only do it so that I don't die.

well, then eating THAT diet would defeat that purpose... you'd die a lot sooner on it.

I think I can. I'm one of those people that don't so much enjoy eating, I eat cause i'm hungry. Although lately that's kinda changed and i've liked eating more but most of last year that's what I eat. Tuna, chicken adn water.

an actual protein diet is not good at all. we actually get all our protein from just regular eating from food. Just the fact that he eats massive...and I mean massive (because chicken, and tuna have MASSIVE amounts of protein in it) is really bad for you. And it shortens your life a lot.

I could if I wanted to, but I have no reason to have that poor of a diet.

He really needs to add some fruits and vegetables to his diet. There is more to them than just vitamins.

That diet does NOT build muscle.

You actually need some carbs(bread, potatos, etc.) to grow.
That diet is good for cutting up and the perfect late night snack.

I may go back on a similar diet after the new year. It will just be for a few months though.
