Ok, close to 2 years ago, 2 brothers here in Kansas kidnapped, raped, tortured, sodomized & robbed 5 Wichita residents and then brutally killed 4 of them. 1 woman was left for dead, but she ended up walking off and getting help and lived. It was a horrible, horrible thing.
The trial the last weeks has been very emotional. A few days ago, the Carr brothers were found guilty for close to 50 counts each. The jury then recommended death. Today, the judge sentenced them both to death. In addition to death, they each received several life sentances I believe.
It has been horribly sad listening to the families speak at the sentancing today. Their grief was heart-wrenching. :sad:
