We just received an email about the appropriate method of contacting a particular group here at work. It rubbed me the wrong way (just a little bit) so I decided to make fun of it. Enjoy. :)

The method for contacting God is very simple. Please follow these directions for establishing the priority level:

Service-Level Agreements:
Priority 1 – “Problem: no access or workaround for a production user/group” (1 business hour)
Priority 2 – “Problem: workaround available” (4 business hours)
Priority 3 – “Request: impacts a current business process” (8 business hours)
Priority 4 – “Request: would enhance functionality, but not critical to a current business process” (2 business days)

Create the ticket and escalate to God using the appropriate Priority Level and you're done.

Please do not call God, EVEN for a priority 1 issue. God knows when He has received a ticket and He is very aware of His SLAs. Anytime we call or walk over and visit God, we impact His ability to be effective. If you must follow up on a issue, please open the ticket to see which angel it is assigned to, and then send an e-mail to that angel.
