Lite-On

Anyone have both Lite-on burner and dvd-rom? I was wondering if the drives are the exact same color. I want to get a dvd-rom from lite-on, but lookin at some of the pictures it seems more beige then white. I already have a 48x lite-on, so i was wondering if any of you guys could verify that both drives are the EXACT same color. Thanks

I don't want to say yes as a sure answer but I've built many computers w/ both of them and haven't noticed. Considering that I didn't realize they were different colors I want to assume they're the same color.

I have a 16x DVD and a 40 x cdrw from lite-on and they are both beige... hehe i could have spent the extra 20 dollars and got them both black, but i dont see the point in paying for color... maybe i will just paint them my self so they can be polka dotted :)

I have the same color on both DVD 16x and CDRW 40/12/48. One thing I need to complain about lite-on is their firmware download page. Their technical support is really below average.

There sometimes is a difference in color. At work, I remember opening a box of dvds and burners and within the same box, there were some that were a few shades darker/lighter.

i just recently bought a 16x dvdrom and a 48x24x48 cdrw...both are the same color.

I have the 32X CD-Rw and the 16X DVD....both the same color...
