My roommate is building a computer and he told me about this deal. Here's the process:
Buy something above $200 and use this coupon code 1571100 or 1000026 (American Express only). This coupon is for $25 off $200 purchase and expires July 31. Next, go to Pointclick and request a reimbursement for 10% back. If you don't know what Pointclick is do a search on it and I'm sure you'll come up with something.
Onvia has excellent prices on their products and they are offering free shipping for further savings. Act quick cuz my roommate told me that Onvia might take themselves off the Pointclick reimbursement list. As of this post they are still in the network though.
The most you can get from Pointclick is $100 per month.
I'm sure you can find some good deals, but here are some ideas.
Voodoo 5: 264-25-26= $213
Annihilator 2: 258-25-26= $207
Plextor 32x/12x/10x: 265-25-27= $213

As far as finding Onvia.com from PointClick, it's easy. They drop the link quite often but you don't need it. All you need to do is a reimburement request from PointClick and Onvia.com is always on the list of companys. I have done it that way 3 times now and it usually accepted within 24 hours.

With the voodoo 5 recently in stock, I hit up onvia for it. Man 213 is a niec deal ... and then i see it for 190 with shipping ... it hurts ... right here ... At least mine is retail ... So I will lick my wounds and work on my esp to find the best deal. thanks for the tip
i rather go for da onvia....cuz they don't charge tax in CA...$213 retail compare to $204 for da white box from kaypro....
thanx for the head up
I checked Pointclick and couldn't find Onvia anywhere in the site. Does this mean that the $45 off $200+ deal is no longer valid?

Actually, that amount you get back is not quite $45 off $200
Only the second coupon mentioned still works, and it is for $25 off $200. The Pointclick reimbursement is AFTER the coupon. Thus, if you get something for $200, after coupon it will come to $175. Pointclick will give you $17.50 back, so the "net" cost is $157.50. Not bad though . . . you can still get 21.25% off Onvia's price shipped. But, your title is misleading: there is no one $45 off $200 at Onvia.

The way I did it was send in a reimbursment form.
Ok, it may not be $45 of $200+. Still, I could not find Oniva in the PointClick site.

Ppl say that you simply send in a reimbursement. Onvia doesn't even have to be on Pointclick's site to get the deal.
I believe there's a link on the site to request reimbursement

One question:
Can you use the pointclick rebates more than once?

As far as I know:
the onvia.com link MUST be on the site to be eligible for reimbursement.
it's on the site starting at ~6-7am each day. onvia only pays for a certain amount of surfers, once that quota is met, poof, the link disappears.
i've done it twice w/onvia both times and the reimbursement amount appear in my balance w/in 48hours.
i've done it once w/o the link and NO REIMBURSEMENT.
you have 5 days to submit your reimbursement.
they won't send a check out till you hit $25.
there's a $1 processing fee.
any questions? see the site.

The title is not misleading, because you are essentially getting more than $45 off your purchase of $200. The coupon is for $25, and since your purchase must be $200 to use the coupon, you will get at least $20 bucks back for total savings of $45. The more you go over $200, the more you save.
And about the Pointclick rebate... It's not listed under the Pointclick network. Just sign up with Pointclick and click "Reimbursement Request." Onvia will be among the stores in the scroll list.
The max you can redeem per month is $100. They process checks at the end of the month so I say it would take around 2 weeks to get your check.

I don't think that's true, because my roommmate does not buy his merchandise at 6 in the morning. He usually does it in the evening and all his reimbursement requests were honored.

Actually, you have 15 days. The 5 day rule doesn't start til August 1.

In all this excitement I didn't know I needed an American Express cc, haha, well that just sucks. I signed up for Blue last week and got a message that "due to the popular demand for this product you may not receive your card until 6 weeks from now."
Great.

The $25 coupon is for American Express only.
The funny thing is that if you goto the checkout screen at Onvia, they have a little picture that says "Onvia prefers VISA."
Whatever.

Is Apex back and doing the deals on his homepage? Cause somebody is dropping the ball by saying those coupon codes are $45 off $200 coupons when in fact they are just $25 off (and there's no mention you have to go through Pointclick). This is so unlike Apex....

The onvia link doesnt have to be on the point click site it is still in the reimbursment section. I've used the coupon deal going on three times now. And have used a VISA for everyone of the purchases even though it says american express. I get my check on the 10th of everymonth for the last 3 months

I saw a link that said "$45 off of $200" from techbargains.com. I don't think Apex ever posted this.
Onvia rocks. I did the PIII 700 deal over the weekend. About $190 shipped. Also got the MSI master slotket for a little under $10 shipped. Slotket got here today. Chip got here yesterday. cBO. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

techbargains had corrected it, it's the same old $25 off 200.
if order $200 stuff, pointclick will give you $17.5 (10% of $175 = your purchase price after discount). that's $42.5 off 200, not $45 off 200. Someone is not so good at math.

Isn't it 10% off of an order of $200 or more?
Therefore the more expensive the product, the higher the Pointclick reimubursement, right?
Hehe... as of my last post in this thread I've gotten my Amx. Blue card... Plextor 12x burner for my computer or a P3 700 for a new computer to build... can't decide!
