Hmmm, 5 years. Aren't you a bit sick of having to introduce her as your girlfriend. So when are you two getting hitched?

I'd say she was a bit young....but 5 years. But, why not get married?. I don't see what age has to do with it. (Playing devils advocate, in similar situation)

Just because you've been dating for five years does NOT necessarily mean that marriage is the next step. Why are people in such a rush to get married these days? Live your life! I have nothing against marriage, but I am 19 years old and do not see myself getting settled down anytime soon. I mean, I was thinking the other day that my sister at my exact age was engaged and would be getting married this April! That idea is crazy to me. I just think marriage should wait until you're both financially stable and able to support each other, plus any possible kids down the road. Also, I think at least one person of the couple should get done with school before so that one can work full-time and get decently paid. But that's me.
